Terms & Conditions

We have put together these Terms and Conditions to make sure you understand what is involved once you have become a member of The ECA Connect Panel. The ECA Connect Panel is an online research community operated by Employment Conditions Abroad Ltd (ECA).

These terms and conditions (this “Agreement”) governs the relationship between Employment Conditions Abroad Ltd (“ECA”, “we”, “our” or “us”), registered in England and Wales under company number 1030127, and you (“member of panel”, “you” or your”). concerning any activity for the purpose of conducting market research including surveys, polls, questionnaires, interviews, and related research tasks.

The platform where all such market research activity will be processed and stored is provided by Largo (QuMind Limited), an independent online Market Research provider based in London, U.K. Please click here to find out more information about Largo (QuMind Limited).

By registering for or participating in the ECA Connect Panel, you agree to the Terms & Conditions described in this document.

Membership Conditions

The ECA Connect Panel Membership.

To become a member of The ECA Connect Panel, you must complete and submit the registration survey to join the panel.

By registering to join The ECA Connect Panel, you confirm that you have read and accepted the following Terms and Conditions. The ECA Connect Panel is free to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, and the most up-to-date version can be viewed at any time on the ECA Website here.

Confidentiality

ECA and Largo (QuMind Limited) ensure that the personal details you provide on the registration survey (including your name and email address and other personal details) are held in a secure database with limited access rights.

Any information you provide, either on the registration survey or in subsequent surveys, will be treated as confidential and used as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Data Protection

We aim to always be transparent and clear and keep your information safe. Please see our Privacy Policy here for more information about how your personal data will be used. By using The ECA Connect Panel, you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate and up to date.

Cookies

Cookies are used for validation and to prevent bothersome repeat surveying. You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are placed on your computer. You can also delete cookies by adjusting your browser settings.

The ECA Connect Panel mostly uses session cookies that expire as soon as you close your Internet Browser. We only use persistent cookies to maintain the state of your questionnaire should you browse away from a survey and wish to continue where you left off. This cookie is in no way used for tracking or holding personal information and will be deleted at the end of the questionnaire or 1 day after the start of the questionnaire. We also use cookies to keep you logged on to The ECA Connect Panel website, to save you having to log in again.

You will receive regular invitations to research studies as a member of The ECA Connect Panel.

Your participation in all activities is voluntary and as such you may end your participation at any time.

You can unsubscribe from The ECA Connect Panel at any time by visiting the website at ecaconnect.global and following the instructions.

1. About the Panel

The ECA Connect Panel is an online research community operated by Employment Conditions Abroad Ltd (ECA International) in partnership with Largo for the purpose of conducting market research activities including surveys, polls, interviews, and related research tasks.

2. Eligibility

To join the Panel, participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a resident of an eligible country or region.
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Use only one account per person unless otherwise authorised.

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership at our discretion if these conditions are not met.

3. Participation

Panel members may be invited to participate in:

  • Online surveys.
  • Quick polls.
  • Interviews or discussion groups.
  • Other research-related activities.

Participation is always voluntary.

There is no obligation to complete every survey or activity, and invitations may be sent based on profile suitability, demographics, or research requirements.

4. Incentives & Rewards

Participants may receive incentives for eligible completed research activities.

Incentives may include:

  • Digital vouchers.
  • Gift cards.
  • Cashback or equivalent rewards.
  • Other rewards made available through Tremendous.

Rewards are:

  • Issued via Tremendous or another approved reward provider.
  • Subject of availability by country or region.
  • Redeemable according to the terms set by Tremendous and participating reward providers.
  • To expire after 12 months if not used within this time frame once activated.

We reserve the right to:

  • Adjust reward values.
  • Substitute reward types.
  • Withhold incentives in cases of suspected fraud, duplicate accounts, incomplete responses, or breach of these Terms.

Participants are responsible for any tax obligations associated with rewards received.

Tremendous is the incentive supplier for The ECA Connect Panel. More information on Tremendous can be found here. Tremendous will hold your personal data such as your name, email address and country location to only process your incentives.

5. Accuracy of Information

Participants agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information when:

  • Registering for the panel.
  • Completing profile questions.
  • Participating in surveys or research activities.

Providing false, misleading, or inconsistent information may result in removal from the Panel and forfeiture of rewards.

6. Confidentiality

Some research activities may involve confidential concepts, materials, or information.

Participants agree not to:

  • Share confidential survey content publicly.
  • Copy or distribute research materials.
  • Discuss unreleased products, campaigns, or concepts outside the panel.

7. Use of Data

Personal data collected through the panel will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Research responses may be:

  • Aggregated and anonymised.
  • Analysed for market research purposes.
  • Shared with research partners or clients in anonymised form.

Personally identifiable information will not be sold to third parties.

8. Fraud & Misuse

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts.
  • Using bots, scripts, or automated methods.
  • Providing fraudulent responses.
  • Attempting to manipulate rewards or surveys.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove accounts involved in prohibited activity.

9. Termination of Membership

Participants may leave the panel at any time by:

  • These Terms are breached.
  • Fraudulent activity is suspected.
  • The panel is discontinued.

10. Intellectual Property

All content made available through the panel, including branding, surveys, graphics, and materials, remains the property of ECA International, Largo, or relevant clients/licensors.

Participants may not reproduce or commercially use any materials without written permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on the panel website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by English law. You and we each agree that the English courts have the jurisdiction for any disputes that arise in connection with this Agreement.
